Dessert (Rock Texture)

Quick landscape painting of a dessert scene but i cheated and used a rock texture... I found this is a good way to save time and achieve realistic looking rocks but unless you have the ability to draw or paint as good as a photo texture over the top then it's pretty useless. For example i tried to draw a truck going through the dessert and thought the truck didn't look bad it was not photo perfect and looked sloppy in comparison to the rocks.

Snow Plain

Over the moon with this as it took about 15 minutes to do. Trying to create Space, Mood and a decent Composition in not very much time.
